The Best Of 2015 | Fragrances

When it comes to fragrances this year, I haven't really steered away from my classics.  This year, to me, has been all about my Jo Malone perfumes.
I'm slowly but surely building up my collection and each year there will be a new one added to my every-growing perfume collection.

Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Cologne - I had to give this an honourable mention first as this perfume has been used the most throughout the year.  You know when you wear a perfume so much so that everyone now says 'That's the Holly scent'. I've worn this scent practically everyday throughout this year and haven't got bored of it one bit. It's sweet, floral and fruity and lasts throughout the day. This is my signature scent and always my favourite go-to.
Valentino Donna Eau De Parfum - I received this as a gift for my birthday after I had longed for it for absolutely ages.  My god, this scent is just amazing! It's sweet, fruity and a tad floral and after a while it leaves you smelling of lychees. It's a very unique scent and quite hard to describe but this scent has been my current go-to lately and the bottle is just gorgeous!
Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne - I also received this perfume on my birthday from my lovely brother and it's a perfume I've been lusting after for so long!
The scent is quite sweet and floral and I find that you only really need one or two spritz of this otherwise it can become a little overpowering. However, the scent is honestly like nothing I've smelt before it's beyond amazing and one I can see myself using all throughout 2016.

I also wanted to mention an article I found on the Cosmopolitan website which I found to be quite interesting and useful.. It's all about a beginners guide to fragrance types. @Cosmo_Style

What's been your favourite fragrance of 2015?..

  1. I was obsessed with the Valentino Donna perfume after smelling a sample in Elle magazine, I lusted after it for so long and finally decided to splurge the £48 on it! So glad I did, the scent lasts so long and it's gorgeous, just a shame it's pretty expensive for only 30ml, I'm going to make it last though :)

    1. I know what you mean it's SO expensive, I got mine in the Debenhams sale (well my Godmother did) and honestly it's the best scent ever.
When it comes to repurchasing though, Debenhams always have a 10% fragrance deal so I'll wait for that to come about to re-order :) x
