The Best Of 2015 | Beauty

I cannot believe we are nearly at the end of 2015, it's been crazy! So many happy memories this year and by far it's been my favourite year - I've been slowly getting myself back on my feet and finding myself again.
I cannot wait to bring in the New Year and make new resolutions and I cannot wait to see what 2016 holds for me.
In terms of beauty, in 2015 I have discovered so many amazing new brands and so many awesome new products to feature in the overall round-up of my beauty favourites.
Chanel Vitalumière Aqua - I had to give this foundation a mention, how could I not? This is by far my favourite foundation of all time! It's light but gives amazing coverage and feels so light on the skin. It also lasts all day and doesn't make my skin dry or oily, it's the perfect balance. I've been through 3 of these this year and I'll definitely keep repurchasing this over and over again without a doubt.
Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita - I adore Charlotte Tilbury and have asked for a lot of their products this year for Xmas, my current favourite product from them is this eyeshadow palette.  All the shades have been used, some more so than the others as you can clearly see but I love this palette! It has a great mixture of shades, the first shade I have worn practically everyday as a base shade or just on it's own.
NARS Silk Road Eyeshadow Duo - Another eyeshadow palette I've been using a lot is the NARS Silk Road, it's great for everyday wear and also for a subtle smokey eye. I've been wearing these shades a lot for those days where I don't feel like wearing much makeup.  The shades are very subtle but also gives the eyes a slight shimmer to them.
NARS Orgasm Blush - As you can tell, this blush is very well loved. I received this blush last Xmas and have been using this every time I apply my make up. I absolutely love the shade of this and so so sad I've hit pan but this blush would definitely be repurchased over and over again.
YSL Waterproof Mascara - I haven't found a mascara that's just as good as this, it's honestly amazing! For me, because I have such flat lashes I found it very difficult for me to find a good mascara that could hold a proper curl and this does just the job, infact it does the job and more. Every time I use this mascara I fall in love over and over again. Total eye-saviour for those with long flat lashes.
Guerlain Maxi Lash Waterproof Mascara - My other favourite mascara has got to be this, it's not as good as the YSL one but it's very nearly close. The only difference between the two is that one has a slightly thinner brush which is perfect for getting all those tiny lashes, making them look very fluttery. Then the other one has a thicker brush which gives you more of a dramatic thicker lash. Both give great results!
Charlotte Tilbury Very Victoria Lipstick - I am slightly cheating here as I only just received this lipstick a few weeks ago but I absolutely love it and have been wearing it every single day so I thought it needed a mention on here. The shade is kinda a 'my lips but better' shade, it matches my lip shade very well, it's matte and it's just gorgeous!!
Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss - Sensible - I don't wear lipgloss much but when I do, this is the lipgloss I always reach for. It's a gorgeous peachy coral shade and suits every day wear, it's not sticky and it lasts really well throughout the day.  I'm already thinking of picking up more of these all in different shades I love them that much!

So that's it for the beauty bests round-up for 2015! What's been your favourites this year?..

  2. I haven't gotten on particularly well with the Silk Road duo, the shades seem too similar to each other when they're on my eyes. I'll have to pull it out & experiment with it some more. I love the look of the Dolce Vita palette, absolutely gorgeous shades! I'd love to own one of these in the future so had better get saving my pennies! CT's lipsticks are also on my wish list. I only have two of her products (the Filmstar Bronze & Glow & the Norman Parkinson Highlighter) & I love them both! Such great quality. Xx
