MUA Undress Me Too Palette | Review + Swatches

"The Undress Me Too Palette embraces this season’s fresh-faced look and urges you to strip back and go nude! Made up of 12 warm and timeless shades, this palette will suit all skin tones and any occasion.
The pearlescent flesh-toned finish of Shades Naked, Devotion and Shy are perfect for highlighting the eyes, while the shimmering bronze hues of Shades Fiery, Lavish and Dreamy give a sultry effect. There are even smouldering contour tones in Shades Tranquil, Exposed and Wink so that you can transform your minimalist day look into a sexy smokey eye in an instant."

If you haven't yet clocked on, then yes this is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.. Not only are the eyeshadows an almost exact dupe but the pigmentation is almost the same to.  I own both this palette and the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and having put them side by side and swatching both palettes theres not much different at all between them other than the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette is a little more pigmented but having saying that would you complain?.. This palette is £4 and the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette is £36!  So if your not willing to fork out all that money then why not purchase this palette instead?
This palette features 12 gorgeous shades ranging from lighter milk tone shades to a deep dark matted black, like with the MUA Undressed palette which i reviewed here; the shimmer shades are much more pigmented than the matte shades excluding the matte black (corrupt) - It comes in white packaging unlike the other MUA palettes which come in black, i actually prefer the white look more as i think the white makes the palette look more cleaner.

You can purchase the MUA Undress Me Too palette from Superdrugs in-store or online, or on the MUA website for £4.

MAC Eyeshadow - Expensive Pink

One of my most worn eyeshadow lately has been this beauty, MAC Expensive Pink, it's the perfect rose gold shade.  Whilst trying to steer away from the darker shades of shadows lately i went out and purchased this baby and i've been wearing this almost every day since.
As with most MAC eyeshadows the pigmentation is spot on, this shade in general is just perfect - a nice pink with duochrome.. i love wearing this as it really compliments my eyes and when the light shines the golden shimmers really do stand out.  I just can't help looking at this eyeshadow it is just utterly gorgeous..  Money well spent i'd say!

- MAC eyeshadows currently retail for £12 and can be purchased at your nearest MAC counter or online. (16th Feb - Debenhams currently have 10% off all beauty and fragrances which ends this Sunday, plus free delivery!)

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint - Pomegranate

I'm pretty sure you've all seen these new Gelly Hi-Shine nail paints from Barry M by now, if you haven't then you've obviously been living under a rock for the past month or so, these Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nail paints have been around the blogger atmosphere for a little while now and all the beauty bloggers seem to have taken quite a liking to them.
When i first spotted them on the Barry M stand, in my opinion i really didn't think much of them.. I have all the shades they were advertising so why did i want another?.. Well, i'll tell you why, these Gelly Hi-Shine nail polishes are amaaazing, I caved in and ended up only buying one to try out, i picked up the shade Pomegranate and i love it, they last a really long time, the color pay-off is lovely and Barry M really kept to his word about the shininess. - I wore this for a whole week without a single chip so i'm pretty impressed.
The Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nail paints come in a ton of different shades and retails for £3.99 each.

MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette | Review + Swatches

"A fabulous addition to the MUA Palette family, this one is the ultimate must have. It has a great combination of nude shimmers and mattes and the colour selection is great for creating this season’s clean, natural look with highly pigmented colours. Undressed is bang on trend with the spring summer runway filled with nude makeup looks."

I'm really building up quite a collection with these MUA eyeshadow palette's, newest to my collection comes the Undressed and Undress Me Too palette which i will be reviewing later on this week but first the Undressed eyeshadow palette.
Featuring 12 gorgeous eyeshadows ranging from lighter champagne shades to darker midnight blue's, this palette has shimmer and matte shades and is perfect for creating day to night looks.
I'm becoming quite addicted to these MUA eyeshadow palettes, i think every time they bring a new one out it draws me in and i have to have the palette, this may not come as a surprise to any one who owns or knows what the Urban Decay Naked palette looks like but this is an exact dupe, the eyeshadows are almost spot on just for a much much cheaper price.
As with all the MUA eyeshadow palette's the pigmentation is great, more so on the shimmer shades than the matte one's but nonetheless still pretty pigmented.
For only £4 you get 12 gorgeous shades, which works out to be 33p an eyeshadow.. pretty great if you ask me..

You can purchase the MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette from Superdrugs in-store or online, or on the MUA website for £4.

The Single Girl's Valentines Kit

Happy Valentines girlies! - I hope you've all got something amazing planned, weather that's with your loved one or with your girls, or maybe your having a nice night in..
I was sent a lovely 'single girl's valentine kit' to share with you all, despite the fact that i have actually got a boyfriend, i'll be spending it indoors with a nice little pampering kit. -perfect!
This kit is perfect for a girls night in, it includes some of my favorite face masks from Montagne Jeunesse in loads of different choices, a glass nail file, my all time favorite chocolates from Lindt and of course you cannot forget a good old chick flick - Thelma & Louise is a classic of mine and a great movie to watch by yourself or with the girlies.
So sit back with a soothing face mask on, munch out on some chocolates, do your nails and watch a funny chick flick..
And of course, Valentine's Day wouldn't be Valentines Day without some sexy lingerie now would it?.. This lingerie set is from Panache, Panache cater more for the bigger chested ladies with the sizes range from D to KK cup sizes.. Unfortunately i wasn't blessed in that department so i offered the lingerie set to my friend to try out and review..  She says in her own words: "The bra is lovely, the quality is suburb and a really good fit, i love how it has silk straps to.. Really comfortable and easy to move around in.. lovely lovely bra, as for the underwear, again very good quality and a really good fit. i feel like a sexy supermodel wearing these! Love the lingerie set and would definitely purchase from them".
- So there you have it, a nice little kit for all the single girl's on Valentine's Day.

What are your plans for Valentine's Day?

Glossybox February 2013 | Valentines Edition

"Whether you've been bitten by the love bug or are enjoying single life to the fullest, theres no right or wrong way to celebrate Valentine's Day.  Regardless of whether you're raising a toast to your significant other or getting ready for a fun night out (or in) with the girls, we at Glossybox know that every oman wants to look and feel her best during the Feast of Saint Valentine.  Who knows - you might even find the love of your life in the process.  Your February Valentine's Day themed Glossybox is here to make sure you'll have the night of your life whomever you end up spending it with.  From luscious lips and glamorous mineral make-up to indulgent body creams and delicate fragrances, you'll be sure to turn heads this year.
Your specially designed Valentine's box is jam-packed with luxurious treats for you to discover and fall head over feels in love with."

So this month, as you can probably tell by now is Valentine's themed, for me personally i don't really celebrate Valentine's Day despite the fact that i do have a boyfriend, i think it kinda gets old once you've been with each other for a long time..  I think this Valentine's Day is just going to be a small meal with the other half and a nice night in.
- Again, i'm pretty impressed with this box as i were for the last one..  I received 3 make up items and 2 body products, so i'll start first with the showel gel.. I received the Anatomicals You Need A Blooming Shower, i've actually tried this before and a few other items from the brand and the products are really nice, i wouldn't say i would purchase this again only being because i prefer sweet candy scented shower gels and bath cremes, i don't mind the smell of this and would use this however.. it is a really nice product and i've always loved the Anatomicals products, there quirky names are the best.
I also received a 30ml Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream, this stuff smells so good, i've only used this once and so far so good, i'll keep you all updated on that as i go, the full sized version of this is £25 for a 50ml, i doubt i'll be purchasing the full size as i've already found a great face cream which works really well with my skin for only £3.99 but who know's i could end up loving this cream more..
For make up i received 2 samples, and 1 full sized.. The two samples were the Micabella Cosmetics Mineral Blush Powder, in shade Siera Suede, i don't really like mineral powder if i'm honest, i tried this out and it's okay but i prefer pressed powders, the shade is really nice however but won't be purchasing this either i'm afraid.
The other sample i received was a Duo Eyeshadow from ModelCo, you receive two generous sized eyeshadows (in the full sized theres 3 eyeshadows).. Anyway the shade i received is in Bronzed Goddess, a lovely shimmery bronze/gold shade and a deep shimmery brown shade, the eyeshadows are pigmented but not extremely, i did experience a little fall out when applied but apart from that a nice duo eyeshadow.
For the last product and the full sized item is a Lipstick by Helen É Cosmetics, the shade i received is called Sienna, a deep dark brown shade with a slight hint of red..  The only dislike about this item is that i didn't really like the shade.. however when i swatched the lipstick it was creamy, really pigmented and the color was rich.  I think if i had received any other shade i would of loved this item, i am going to keep hold of this lipstick for now because i think the shade may grow on me in the future.. you never know.. i once said i was never going to wear bright red lipstick..
And lastly for our bonus item from Glossybox is the love heart lollipop, i haven't eaten mine yet but i have a feeling it will be gone very soon... (sweet tooth)

Anatomicals You Need A Blooming Shower - Full size 300ml - £5
Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream - Full size 50ml - £25
Micabella Cosmetics Mineral Blush Powder - Full size 9g - £34.95
ModelCo Eyeshadow Duo Palette - Full size £18
Helen É Cosmetics Moisturising Lipstick - Full size £8

January Favorites | 2013

Oh wow, i swear i leave my monthly favorites post later and later each month. big whoops..
Anyway no ramble just going to get straight to it..
I haven't really switched up many products last month than i do normally, i've found a fair few products which i've stuck with and enjoy using so i've just been using those..
I've been using baby wipes for almost a year now, i got bored of branded cleansing wipes and thought, well baby wipes are like 54p at Tesco's, cheap.. does the job so no fuss.. but, i have been missing using my favorite St Ives cleansing wipes, normally they are averagely expensive so i only really buy them when they have a deal on or if they are on a special offer, i buy the dry & sensitive skin wipes and they are the best face wipes in the world, they remove all my make up in one wipe they are easy to get waterproof mascara off and they smell incredible.. i love them!
Okay, it's no lie that everyone has been talking about the Rimmel Apocalips, i bought 5 of them and i can't decide which one i love the most, however i have been wearing my Nude Eclipse one a lot..
For lipbalm i've been using my beloved Korres lip butter in Pomegranate, it's so moisturising and it leaves a slight tint on your lips which i really like, it's tiny and compact so it's perfect for on the go.
For mascara, i'm still loving my Lo'real Telescopic Waterproof Mascara, i find that when i curl my eyelashes and apply any other mascara it just goes back to being straight again, with this mascara however, it stay's curled and it lasts all day so i really like that.  - My favourite eyeshadow this month is without a doubt MAC's Expensive Pink, it's just the most gorgeous shade of pink with slight hints of gold shimmer, absolute beauty! - this eyeshadow is also in my Sweet Valentine Giveaway so be sure to check that out to be in with a chance of winning.
And for my last two products, i've been loving the Marc Jacobs Daisy shower gel, it smells the same as the perfume and if you know what the perfume smell's like then yeah, no need to explain.
For face creams, okay oh my god i've found my new favourite face cream.. It's the new Garnier Moisture Match Goodbye Dry, they have just been released and there is one for everyone.  They selections are:.. Goodbye Dry,  Shine Be Gone,  Protect And Glow, Start a Fresh,  Wake Me Up.
I picked up Goodbye Dry as i have really dry skin, this moisturiser is absolutely amazing! - I apply this in the morning and before i go to bed and my skin has had no dry patches since, it's seriously a miracle face cream!

So that's my favorites from January, what has been your favorites?..

Beauty Wishlist | February 2013

Oh howdy,  can you believe that it's already February?.. I swear i've been asleep the past month as when i last looked it was Christmas?.. What the hell happened?..
Anywaaayy, another beauty wishlist for you all for this month. I'm not going to ramble on as i know i do this in almost every post.
First thing on my wishlist this month is the Gucci Guilty Eau De Toilette, my sister has this and i remember when we did a review on this absolutely yonks ago when i actually first started my blog, whilst browsing in The Perfume Shop the other day i spotted this and asked for a sample, and oh my god, i can just remember why we both fell in love with this perfume.. it is just one of those perfumes you can sniff all day everyday without getting bored of the scent. It smells incredible.
Next are the Sleek True Colour Lipsticks, i feel as though i own so many lipsticks and i can't stop buying them, i own one lipstick from Sleek (Rose Petal) and i love it and want to/need to try more.
Again, same with lipsticks/lip products i also own a lot of nail polishes but i can't stop buying them, the one i've spotted lately that i can never find in store is Essie Fiji, for some reason everytime i go into a store that stocks Essie, they are always always out of stock on Fiji, it's actually become so frustrating looking for it so i may resort into ordering online;
Okay, so we all know how many people have added this item on their wishlist this month, the Benefit Fine One Brightening Cheek and Lip Trio, i spotted this on Instagram after so many bloggers i follow uploaded images of this and my whole timeline came filled, it's a product i would love to try, just don't know if i'm going to rush out and buy it straight away..
Lastly, i've actually ordered this already,  MUA Undress Me Too palette - MUA have basically copied Urban Decay's Naked Palette, with the name and the shade's.. Naked.. Undress Me?... Not that i'm bothered, a dupe of the Naked palette for £4. why not?..

What's on your wishlist this month?..

Rimmel Apocalips - Big Bang | Miss Holly

The earth-shattering lip lacquer from Rimmel London combining the intense colour of lipstick with a lacquer like shine, Apocalips Lip Lacquer is an explosive make-up phenomenon that represents the end of colour as you know it. Packed with pure colour pigments, its lusciously creamy, conditioning formula promises a never-before combination of colour, shine and comfort that last and last.

It seems as though everyone has gone gaga for these Rimmel Apocalips lipglosses lately, i've seen them everywhere, and when i mean everywhere.. i really do mean everywhere
I put off purchasing these at first, not being a big fan of lipglosses everytime i went into Superdrugs or Boots i would see them and then quickly hurry past before i could even think about purchasing any.
Of course, being a beauty blogger doesn't work that way, you end up see'ing them in almost every single blogger's posts and i am a sucker at things like that.
So, i ended up ordering a few online and went out to purchase a few aswell..

I've already review Galaxy and Luna, if you've missed those then feel free to check them out, they'll be linked.  On the 3 for 2 deal at Boots the last shade i picked up was.. Big Bang, a lovely bold bright red.
For me personally, this is the one i probably got most excited about. If you read my blog regularly you will probably notice that i love my bold bright red lipsticks, not that i wear them everyday but when i go out on special occasions i do like to whack on a nice red lip.
The pigmentation of this is spot on, i love how you can apply one coat and already you set to go, apply two and it makes your look more dramatic which i love.
It applies so well and the application is so smooth, I'm really loving these new lip glosses'.

Have you tried the new Rimmel Apocalips Lipglosses yet?
The Rimmel Apocalips lipglosses retails for £5.99, Boots currently have a 3 for 2 offer on all Rimmel cosmetics, cheapest free.

I've already reviewed the Rimmel Apocalips in Galaxy, so the next shade i picked up was Luna.

As i said in my previous review of the Galaxy lipgloss, i really really love these. They are so so pigmented and they are just perfect for everyday use.   They glide on your lips and the staying power of these is just to perfection.

Models Own Mirrorball Collection | Miss Holly

Mirrorball is our first ever collection of nail frostings - a range of glide-on glitters that will revitalise your entire polish collection. Wear alone or over your favourite colour polish to give a frosting finish, taking nails from boring to BLING!

If so saw in my last wishlist post, i posted that i really wanted to try the Models Own Mirrorball collection.. well i didn't end up buying the whole set, i ended up purchasing 3 which if i did buy the whole set i would of gained 3 more nail polishes.. ah well.
I picked up three shades from Boots a couple of weeks back now.. Boogie Nights, Freak Out and Hot Stuff..  They didn't have the whole set so i picked up the three shades i liked the look of most, all priced at £5 so worked out at £15 and the whole mirrorball set cost £20 which includes Dancing Queen, Disco Inferno and a 3 in 1 top and base coat and gloss. - (instead of doing what i did, i'd recommend picking up the whole set instead.)
Anyway, with the three i did pick up i thought were the best out of the collection, instead of plain glitter polishes (which i am a little bored of now) these are more flakes of glitter, they apply quite evenly and of course you can rearrange the flakes, like i normally do.
They certainly make your nails stand out when applied, i wore this to work one day and i got so many compliments, they definitely give your nails that something extra and i love applying them on top of a colour nail polish to make them stand out even more..
The Models Own Mirrorball Collection is priced at £5 for one polish or £20 for the whole set and can be purchased at Boots or online.

Have you tried the Models Own Mirrorball polishes?..

So, i ended up ordering a few online and went out to purchase a few aswell..
The first shade that caught my eye was 'Galaxy', i would say it's my kind of shade, a shade i would pick up without even hesitating to think if it would suit me or not.
My first thoughts on these were 'wow they are pigmented'.. that is actually the first thing i said to my boyfriend (not that he cares, he's bored of my make up talk now).. I wasn't really sure what to expect, when i first applied the first coat i was blown away straight off the bat, it's so so pigmented it's unreal. I applied two coats which is how i would wear my lipglosses.. full colour.  They are really smooth and they glide on like nothing else.
For only £5.99, i'm bloody impressed.. i simply do-not understand why i didn't pick these up sooner, okay i know they have only been out about 9days but still...!
