My Christmas -2011

I hope every one of you had a fantastic Christmas, mine was spent with my family and my boyfriends family. I had such a great Christmas i think it's been my best one yet.. i got everything i asked for ... nearly.. and i spent it with all the people i love!
Like every year i spend Christmas in two ways.. I stay at my boyfriends the night before Christmas.. wake up and open presents there with the grown ups first then my boyfriends sister and her children come over and they get there own 'special' time.. then go home for Christmas lunch with my family and open presents there.. Spend some time with them and then go back to the boyfriends for Christmas dinner and then we all sit by the fire in the living room and watch stand up comedies all night - this year we watched Lee Evans and Peter Kay - I fell asleep half way through watching Peter Kay.. Some reason i am ALWAYS tired on Christmas day, despite the fact if i have had enough sleep or not the night before...  I managed to snap a few pictures of my Christmas this year... enjoy..

The Christmas Tree
Opening Presents..

I curled my hair with my new Babyliss Wave Envy that my boyfriend bought for me for Christmas.. Soo happy that he bought it for me, it's been on my wishlist since it first came out.. he knows me too well!
What do you guys think?

LUSH - Lil Lush Pud

LUSH - Lil Lush Pud
Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without the traditional Lush Pud
A little late with using this bath bomb, i especially saved this bath bomb to use for either Christmas eve or boxing day but with it being soo hectic i completely forgot about it - so i ended up using this only a few days back not one of my favourites but definetly one to have for Christmas..

Main Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Aloe Vera Extract, Clove Powder, Lemon Peel Powder, Cassie Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid, Rose Absolute, Propylene Glycol, Benzyl Benzoate, Perfume, Candy Holly Leaf

*occurs naturally in essential oils
(Natural - Synthetic)

As soon as you drop the bath bomb into the water you can instantly smell a strong scent of all the christmassy scents such as marzipan, lemon peel powder, clove powder, aloe vera extract and rose..
The only downside to this bath bomb is the colour for one - The colour almost instantly put me off at first if it wasn't for the gorgeous scent i don't think i'd actually get into the bath tub..
The second bad point is that after you've drained the water your whole bath tub is stained - and not a lovely color stain either, but a horrible poo'ey brown colour stain! So after my bath i had to scrub the bath tub clean which is not exactly what i want to do after i've just had a bath..

Overall i do like the bath bomb, the smell is gorgeous but not one i'd buy on a regular basis.. i'm quite happy that this bath bomb is a yearly thing rather than an on-going thing..

The LUSH Lil Lush Pud is unfortunately no longer available to purchase..

So i'm back and feeling alot better than before, i just put all more worries behind me and got on with life, as you have to sometimes instead of letting everything get to you and focus more on the things that make me happy .. my boyfriend, family, friends and blogging..
Anyway thank you all for your lovely comments on my previous blog post it really meant alot to me when reading them all through. Although i did get that one horrible comment which i won't even go into..

Taking a break from blogging

I know i can't really say 'taking a break' as i've hardly blogged this month (well compared to my normal blogging self) but i thought i would be honest here and explain the reason behind it all.. i haven't been as happy as i normally am for the past few months or so and if i'm not happy then it makes it harder to blog.. As much as i love blogging for you all, sometimes you just need your own space and time to 'be happy' again. I'm hoping the new year will do this for me.. i definetly need some kinda luck (fingers crossed)
I'm not going to explain why i'm unhappy right now as it's personal and something i'll have to deal with on my own, but i'm hoping i'll look back at this in a few weeks time and laugh about it..
Anyway i'm not sure as to how long i'm taking a break from blogging for.. it may just be a day.. or even a week/s.. i just need time to myself right now and i'm really hoping you will all understand... i'm really hoping that i will be back to myself soon but in the meantime please bare with me and i'll speak to you all soon! <3

My Christmassy nails - part 2

I got bored with my last Christmassy nails so decided to get a little more creative and doing something a little different but still Christmassy.. So with all the fingers apart from the ring fingers i painted first with Arezia Nail Colour which doesn't actually have a shade colour or code :/ - my sister bought it this year whilst in Hong Kong.. it's basically a light red/pinky colour nail polish with small iridescent glitter inside.. I then added a thin coat of ELF's Golden Goddess and then on top of that i added NYC 105 Light-Camera-Glitter..
With my ring finger i opted for the Barry M Red Wine with Barry M Red Glitter on top like i did in my previous Christmassy nail's post. Overall i am absolutely loving the outcome and think this is how i'll be wearing my nails on Christmas day!

What do you girlies think?
Happy holidays all!

LUSH - Twilight Bath Ballistic

LUSH - Twilight Bath Ballistic
2nights in a row i've used goodies from LUSH i just can't get enough of them! So i'm back home for the week and by home i mean my home.. usually i'm at my boyfriends house but see'ing as he's started his new job working long hours i moved back home for a little while.. (Hense why my last LUSH post had a bigger bath tub and this one has a much much smaller one)

Main Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lavender Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Tonka Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Cocamide DEA, Lauryl Betaine, *Coumarin, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 42090, Colour 14700, Colour 17200, Colour 45410, Iridescent Glitter

*occurs naturally in essential oils
(Natural - Synthetic)

So initially when i bought this bath bomb i was hoping to be able to use it a few times rather than just once, but as i wanted to write a review on all the bath bombs i bought - i couldn't write and show you all pictures without having to use the whole bath bomb so you could see the full effect.. This bath bomb comes with 2 layers, pink on the outside and blue on the inside.. like i do with most of my bath bombs i broke the bath bomb into pieces.. which let me say didn't work very well.. and the inside layer (the blue part) just didn't want to break up..
I first popped all the 'pink bits' in first.. then added the inner layer the 'blue part' just after..
The smell of this bath bomb is absolutely amazing, a little over whelming at first but it does fade after a while.. lovely scent of lavender and citrus.. Again this one contains a ton of glitter, which i didn't actually know it did.. so that was a lovely suprise. I would say that this bath bomb contained more glitter than the LUSH Space Girl i'm not sure if that was because my bath tub is smaller than my boyfriends (which i used in the Space Girl review) but the Twilight bath bomb just looked as if there was far more glitter..

Above, i managed to capture a picture of the pretty glitter which i couldn't do with the Space Girl bath bomb..

The LUSH Twilight Bath Ballistic is available from all LUSH stores and on the LUSH online website for £2.99/200g - it's a must have!

Have you tried LUSH Twilight Bath Ballistic yet? .. what were your thoughts?

LUSH - Space Girl

LUSH - Space Girl
I'm sure alot of you will probably have tried this bath bomb out before, if not then i highly recommend you do. LUSH Space Girl is one of my all time favourite bath bomb, mainly for the fact is smells ammmazing and if you know me well then you will know how much i love glitter.. well this bath bomb is packed full of glitter! Bonus!

Main Ingredients
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Almond Oil, Colour 17200, Colour 42053, Crimson and Red Golden Glitter, Fizzy Candy, *Limonene, *Linalool, Methyl Ionone
(Natural - Synthetic)

As soon as you pop the Space Girl bath bomb into the water you can instantly smell the gorgeous scent - i am utterly useless at describing scents but from what i remember, i picked up citrus scents and grapefruit as shown above in the main ingredients.
The bath bomb fizzlied up within a space of 2minutes and my/my boyfriends whole bath tub was filled with glitter.. my bath tub well my boyfriends.. is actually quite big - compared to my bath tub at home which is literally the size of my body!... so as you can see from the above pictures that you can barely see it's purple - i think if it was in a smaller bath tub you would be able to see the purple more..
I also tried to pick up on camera the glitter but the camera just didn't want to focus for that one shot, so hopefully judging from the pictures above you may be able to see if you looked realllllllyy closely that the whole bath was filled with glitter..
The main thing i love about LUSH bath bombs is that the scent seems to stick with you longer than normal bath creme's/ soap.. Normally as soon as i finish my bath and dry myself the scent almost instantly disappears.. With LUSH bath bombs the scent sticks with you for at least a few hours if not longer.. I used this bath bomb at night and the next morning i could still smell the citrusy scent.. gorgeous!!

The LUSH Space girl is available from all LUSH stores and on the LUSH online website for £1.90/125g - total bargain see'ing as the bath bomb is actally quite big'ish..

Have you tried LUSH Space Girl yet? .. what were your thoughts?

Another little LUSH Haul

On Saturday i did a little shop at Lakeside shopping centre picking up some last minute Christmas deals. First stop... LUSH ... i didn't realise how small the LUSH store in Lakeside actually was until i was cramped inside, compared to the LUSH store in the Newcastle Metro Shopping Centre.
Anyway i managed to pick up a few bath bombs before my big shop in Primark, which suprisingly i didn't pick up anything for myself i actually spent all my money on my boyfriend getting some 'extra' bits but my boyfriend did get me a few bits also for Christmas. Excited much?
Disappointed i didn't get a lovely Christmassy bag like i did last time..

So first i picked up the Lil Lush Pud (£1.95) - i used my last one up wayyy before Christmas which i was supposed to save for either Christmas eve or day but just couldn't contain myself. (The image above is from my last LUSH haul, my camera ran out of battery before i could take a picture)
Next up is Space Girl(£1.90), this one is one of my all time favourite's.. review coming up shortly..
Next i picked up Twilight Bath Ballistic (£2.99) - never tried this one before, seen tons of great reviews on it so i'm excited to try this out, if you've tried this before please let me know your thoughts on it.. i'd love to know what your opinions are..
Annnd lastly, i picked up Sex Bomb (£2.99) - Again haven't tried this one yet but expect to see a review coming up shortly, and again if you've tried this one before please do let me know what you thought :)

Anyone else been to LUSH lately?

my Christmassy nails - NOTW

ahhh only 9 days to Christmas, who is just as excited as i am?

The other day whilst browsing through my sisters huge stash of nail polishes, i spotted the ever-so popular Barry M Red Glitter nail polish and knew i had to have it on my nails for this festive season.. I first painted my nails with the Barry M Red Wine then added Barry M Red Glitter on top and i am totally in love with the outcome!
(Sorry the pictures aren't fantastic, currently without a camera so stuck using my iphone camera)
Have you painted your nails for this festive season? If so feel free to link your post's below, i'd love to check it out!
