NOTW - BarryM & The Body Shop

First off i'm having huge problems with blogger right now - for some reason my post's aren't going onto my followers dashboard and it's really bugging me, i'm not sure if anyone else is having the same issue or if it's just me? but if anyone knows how to fix this then i would reallyyy appreciate if they could let me know pleaseee..
Anyway i have to say that this is a 'Nails of the week' rather than nails of the day as i never get the time to paint my nails everyday, infact i only really paint my nails when i'm bored of the colour or they need doing.
I went to my village bonfire last night and thought i would paint my nails for the occasion and when i think of bonfire i think of sparkley fireworks. I absolutely love this colour combo and will definetly be painting my nails like this more..
Nail Polishes Used:

Wet 'n' Wild Vanity

As much as i would love to try more of these Wet 'n' Wild palette's they aren't available here in the UK, so when the lovely Danielle and i organised a blogswap i was thrilled when i saw a Wet 'n' Wild palette alongside the other fabulous goodies she got me.
The Wet 'n' Wild palette has been raved about soo much over the past few months and i wanted to see for myself what all the fuss was about.
These six pan palettes from Wet 'n' Wild comes with 6 gorgeous shades - 3matte on one side and 3 shimmer shades on the other, each complementary shade can be mixed-and-matched for a variety of day-to-night looks.
Like all the other 6pan Wet 'n' Wild palettes the 3matte shades are on the left and the 3shimmer shades are on the right..
The first column of the palette is the matte shades, starting with the light beige matte shade which is alot less pigmented than the other shades in the palette and when swatched actually felt abit chalky. The middle shade is a beige colour and again felt chalky when swatched.. the last shade is a deep dark brown shade which i found was the most pigmented of all the matte shades in this palette.
The right hand side of the palette are the shimmer shades more pigmented than the matte shades, the first shimmer shade is a pale white gold frosted perfect for a highlighting shade the middle a light metallic gold and a coppery bronze with a overlay of golden shimmer all extremly pigmented..

The verdict:
  • All shades are smooth and pigmented - shimmers more so than the mattes
  • Unique shades and great quality
  • Cheap but cannot get in the UK
  • Not available in the UK
Final Grade:

Would I buy again? Yes.

Where can I get it? These are currently un-available in the UK but can be easily found on sites like eBay or Amazon.

Review: Born Pretty Store - 6PCS Black Waterproof Eyeliner

How adorable are these little eyeliners? These instantly caught my eye when browsing on the Born Pretty Store website and i knew i just had to have them. Lucky i am an affiliate with Born Pretty Store so they sent me these gorgeous eyeliners to review.
What made me so attracted to them was the outer packaging, they all have different outfits and most of them are pulling different faces too, apart from the 2nd and 3rd one. I love cute things like these and i was instantly won over by the packaging...
I've been using these non-stop since i've receieved them, i've struggled over the past few years to find a good working eyeliner, I've tried countless different eyeliners over the years.. liquid, pencil, gel.. and could never find the perfect one.
When i first used one of these cute eyeliners i was amazed at how easy they were to use and i finally could master the perfect flick. If you would like to see a picture of me wearing this eyeliner then click here. As you can see the flick is almost perfect which i am pretty happy about as it's taken me years to master it.
I also noticed on the website that it says 'gel eyeliner'.. which i think they may have got wrong as they look and feel more like a liquid eyeliner.
Please excuse my horrible nails here, i had only just painted them and was waiting for them to dry before i cleaned them up.
These cute little eyeliners come in a pack of 6 all in black which personally i think is far from enough. Infact one eyeliner has lasted me nearly 2months soo far and it still has plenty left in the tube, so i've given one away to my sister to use and am thinking of giving away a few in a giveaway?..
I honestly do not think i can fault these, they are absolutely amazing.. I've written a list below of all the things i love about these eyeliners:
  • Quick drying
  • Easy to remove
  • Creates the perfect flick
  • Cute packaging
  • Cheap at $8.42 & comes in a pack of 6
  • Long lasting
  • Can create thick and thin lines
Overall i am very impressed with these eyeliners and would definetly recommend them to anyone and everyone, honestly you cannot go wrong. They are soo cheap yet they work amazingly well.
You can purchase these gorgeous eyeliners online at the Born Pretty Store website for $8.42 by clicking 'here' and for a further 10% off you can use my coupon below :)

LOOK magazine - Kate Middleton Inspired MakeUp Look

I've been a huge fan of the 'Middleton' sisters ever since i watched the beautiful Kate walk down the aisle in her gorgeous £250,000 Alexandra McQueen dress. The Middleton sisters have been shown in the press countless times ever since, with their gorgeous natural beauty and their amazing sense of style.
My sister handed me over the latest copy of the LOOK magazine last night and to my excitement i saw the gorgeous Kate Middleton on the front of the magazine and knew i had to 'copy' her look.  Now i know i will never be as gorgeous as Kate and yes i am jealous of her natural beauty but that doesn't stop me from trying to steal the princesses look.

Review: Guy Kremer - Add The Bounce Cleanser and Rebalancer

Internationally renowned hairdresser Guy Kremer** is delighted to launch a new range of brilliantly performing haircare products: Guy Kremer, Professional Salon Style.
Underpinned by Guy’s unparalleled wealth of professional experience, the range is designed to appeal to sophisticated and fashion aware women of all ages. The cleansers (shampoos) and rebalancers (conditioners) help create beautiful looking hair by preparing it to its optimum condition in readiness for styling.
Working alongside top haircare chemists and using the finest of ingredients, each of the product’s premium formulations and textures has been developed by Guy and exhaustively tested by him and his team of Winchester salon professionals.
Key to the range’s efficacy is a unique cleansing and rebalancing system, formulated with essential nutrients to address the hair concerns Guy sees every day, both in his salon or when working on hair shows or media assignments all over the world.
Both the cleansers (shampoos) and rebalancers (conditioners) contain 18-MEA (a natural lipid found in the hair cuticle) which helps to balance the hair's natural chemistry and restore it to an optimum condition in preparation for styling. Optimum condition restored, hair happily takes on and maintains the shape, volume and added shine of the desired look.
Guy’s range comprises versatile, multi-tasking products that help women achieve beautiful fashionable style quickly and with ease. All the styling products have been designed to withstand the rigorous demands of photo session styling, backstage fashion and show work and hairdressing education seminars that Guy knows so well, so consumers can be confident of the products reliably delivering first class results.
Professional salon cleansers (shampoos) and rebalancers (conditioners) to cleanse, detoxify and replenish hair’s natural balance for beautiful looking hair.
I'm a big fan of trying out new brands of shampoo's and conditioners so when i was contacted to review the new Guy Kremer Cleanser & Rebalancer i instantly jumped at the chance, within a few days i had received the shampoo and conditioner in my hands and ready to use.. I have to admit i have taken my time to review this product as i really wanted to use up my other shampoo's and conditioners first before i started another batch. I finally tried this product out 2weeks back and have been addicted ever since. The first thing that caught my eye when receiving the products was the packaging, simple yet cute and not to over the top, i am not keen on overdone packaging and when i mean 'overdone' i mean packaging with far too many pictures and logo's on the front.. I would much rather a product with simple yet noticeable packaging.
I spotted on the front of the packaging that it said it was for 'fine/fragile hair' .. well.. my hair is far from fine and fragile and infact it's super thick and non-fragile but suprisingly the shampoo and conditioner worked very well with my hair. It left my hair feeling silky smooth and very volumising. The smell kinda reminded me of the Organic Surge products, a very un-describable but gorgeous scent.
What it says on the bottle: Fine, fragile hair? It's time to Add The Bounce! Try this cleasing complex to restore fullness, body and bounce, giving that salon finish feel every time!
What it says on the bottle: Fine, fragile hair? It's time to restore your hair's natural balance! Try this conditioning boost to add bounce and shine, giving that salon finish feel every time!
You can purchase these shampoo's and conditioner's in the Guy Kremer salons or online: for £6.95each.

Have you tried this new brand? What were your thoughts?

Look of the day

Hey everyone, i hope you all had a fantastic weekend - not going to lie i spent my whole weekend playing The Sims2.. I've become addicted again.. I also wanted to say a big thank you to those who left suggestions and voted for which dress to pick for the wedding and if to change my hair colour.. I've decided to keep my hair colour how it is now until after the winter, then i shall be changing.. and the wedding dress i picked? .. well i'll leave that a suprise for the day.. i'm sure i'll do an outfit and makeup of the day to show you lovelies.

Anyway i briefly popped into town this morning with my boyfriend and thought i would show you girlies my look for the day..
I've kept my look quite simple today, it was freezing when i left the house this morning and i had hardly any time to get ready as this cold weather tends to make me stay in bed later than usual..
Have a great day all :)

Help me: Should i change my hair colour?!..

After going through old pictures the other day with my boyfriend, we found tons of old pictures of me with different hair styles in each.. some with blonde streaks, some with red hair, some with my hair how it is now..
Which got me thinking.. over the past few weeks i've been thinking about changing my hair again and adding my blonde streaks back in.. I really liked my hair with blonde streaks in, it made me want to style and do more to my hair but then again with all this cold weather and nearly going into winter i'm not sure wether blonde streaks will suit this time of the year..
I've added a few pictures below of my hair now and my hair with blonde streaks in - I would love to know what you girlies think.. Should i change my hair colour?..
My hair now:
My hair when i had blonde streaks:
So what do you girlies think? Shall i make the change and head back to blonde streaks?

Help me: Picking out a dress for a wedding

Okay.. i need your help people - i have a wedding to go to this December and i am stuck for dresses. First off.. let me point out that it's not my wedding.. i've had a few people on twitter saying 'congratulations' and all that but it's not my wedding lol, it's my boyfriends cousin's wedding. I was almost certain that i knew which dress to wear a few months back and didn't need to worry, but now i'm having second thoughts and after finding a few more gorgeous dresses to pick from .. i am now torn inbetween which one to choose and time is slowly running out.. same goes for my hair too but i'll be explaining and telling you all about that in tomorrow's post.
Anyway here are these gorgeous dresses i am completely loving right now and am stuck on choosing.. I am certain i want to wear a maxi dress too.. so here are my choices..
The cheapest out of them all.. I picked this dress because i thought the colour would be appropiate for a December wedding, the colour is in Rust a gorgeous burnt orange colour, i was thinking about pairing this with a black cardigan and black clutch with a brooch maybe?
Ditza Asymmetric Panel Jersey Maxi Dress
I think this is the dress i love the most out of all of these, i love the 3tone colours of this dress which is really in season right now, again i was thinking about maybe pairing this with a black cardigan and clutch, simply gorgeous.
The most expensive of them all.. As much as i'd love to own this dress and boy would i love to - with christmas and my birthday coming up, getting this dress may mean i have less to spend on my birthday .. but it is simply stunning.. i love it!
The last pick .. i love chiffon clothing so when i saw this dress i simply fell in love. I'm really into the colour navy right now too, although this may change over the next few weeks.. which i really don't think it will. This dress is gorgeous!

I need your help girls, pleaseeee help me pick out a dress and leave a comment below of which dress you think i should pick..
I'll also be doing a post tomorrow about changing my hair too which i'll need your help on .. so stay tuned :)
Thank you!

Review: Diva Big Hot Rollers

I received these big hot rollers a little while back and just haven't found the time to actually use them yet, i'm hoping to use these for a wedding i have coming up in December so i needed to get into the full swing on how to use them before the day arrives.
I have got to admit that these hot rollers really didn't interest me at first, mainly because i own 3 pairs of curling tongs(all different) and a pair of hair straighteners too.. so why would i need hot rollers when i could just use my curling tongs?
Well.. the hot rollers use alot less heat .. which means less damage to your hair. Result!
You can also leave these rollers in your hair whilst your getting ready saving you alot of time, especially in the mornings when your in a rush to leave the house..
The Diva Big Hot Rollers:
  • 9 easy to use butterfly clips
  • 9 rollers - colour coded - 2-supersize 50mm and 7-extra large 38mm
  • 17 professional colour coded pins
  • Light up on/off switch
  • Convenient stand, use flat or upright
  • Speed heat technology
  • Flocked, smooth grip coating to combat fly-a-ways and increase shine
  • Thermal honey comb structure for heat retention
  • Ionic technology for super shiny curls

These big hot rollers described to give your hair super glamourous shiny waves and curls - and that's exactly what it did.. with the help of my gorgeous new Halo Hair extensions
I left the rollers in my hair for around 15minutes or less whilst i was getting ready to go into town and this is how the curls turnt out. I think if i left the rollers in a little longer it would of been abit more curly - but i really like how it looked in the end. They made my hair look really glossy and shiny, with hardly any effort into them at all. They literally take a few minutes to put in your hair, around 15-20 minutes to work there magic and your done. I think i'm going to get alot more use out of these big hot rollers than i will with my normal curling tongs and wands.. especially as i'm always rushing around in the mornings when i'm getting ready.

These Big Hot Rollers are available from Sally's Express and normally retail for £47.99 but are currently on offer for £42.99 until 26th October 2011. Only a few days left girls!

So what do you think?
Have you or would you try hot rollers?
