How to use Dry Shampoo - TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé. All opinions are 100% mine.
Tips for getting the best results using the TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo, Shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results, Lift sections of dry hair and spray lightly at roots, spray in short bursts, holding 8-12 inches from head - Don’t spray it like hair spray (all over and continuously) Leave in your hair for 1-2 minutes, then use your fingertips or a brush to distribute product evenly.  If clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse the nozzle under warm water, then reattach.
- A complete line of dry shampoos that revive your style’s look and feel on days you skip a shampoo, uniquely formulated to absorb excess oil and remove odor, the full line of dry shampoos rejuvenates hair without a drop of water.  With a renewing burst of citrus extracts infused into every product, it leaves hair with a clean, fresh scent.
The full line includes:
o Strengthening Dry Shampoo: The formula, with B12 vitamins and keratin, helps strengthen hair and leaves it full of healthy body.  o Volumizing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with mineral clay and citrus, removes oil while injecting hair with salon-gorgeous volume.  o Smoothing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with Vitamin H & Silk Proteins, refreshes your straight style by removing excess oil, impurities and odor to ensure your smooth look lasts.  o Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo: The formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus, and Aloe Vera, refreshes your hair by removing excess oil, impurities and odor while moisturizing hair.

The Grudge - Inspired Halloween Look

Okay you might want to look away if you get creeped out easily..
This is abit of a change to yesterdays halloween inspired look, haha -Today i really fancied creating a creepy look for halloween but wasn't really sure what to do.. that's when i thought to myself- what is the one thing i am terrified of..
Answer is..
The Grudge
The first time i watched The Grudge or shall i say Ju-On as The Grudge i think is just a re-creation of Ju-On. Anyway i was quite young when i watched it at my cousins house and me being one of the youngest out of my cousins and siblings, decided i wanted to watch it with them.. (Bad idea).. i literally couldn't sleep for weeks and everytime i closed my eyes all i could see was the girl from Ju-On(The Grudge)
I'm not that scared of her anymore and actually laugh when i see her(i am scared, i just laugh because deep down i am terrified she will come and get me!) It's just the dark make up and the white dress she wears that scares the hell out of me. Eurgghh and that horrible walk she does!

I thought what better way to get over my fear by creating 'The Grudge' look.
So that's exactly what i did today..
Here are a few pictures of my make up i did for this look.

So what do you guys think?
Like it or hate it?
P.S: If you don't know what 'The Grudge' is.. i dare you to google it and see if you get creeped out ;)

Barbie inspired halloween look - No.4

Hey everyone!
Last week i placed a poll on my blog so you guys could vote for which looks you would like to see for halloween - Now for me halloween isn't always dressing up all scary - and you see alot of ladies dressing up as angels which isn't scary at all! So i placed a poll on my blog for you guys to vote for the looks you would like to see me do for the weeks coming up to halloween and i'll be picking out the top 4 looks to re-create for you.
No.4
Barbie
(image taken from Google)
In fourth place you guys choose Barbie
I picked this image from Google so i could create my look- I'm a little bummed as my video camera is still not recording properly and after recording a whole video it wouldn't upload to the computer. Hopefully i'll get it sorted soon.
When i think of 'Barbie' all i think about is PINK!
So anyway here is my re-created Barbie look..(as you can see.. alot of pink!)

Face
Start by applying an even layer of foundation to your face - being sure to cover any redness, blemishes and dark circles.
Light dust your face with powder for a velvety finish.
Sweep bronzing powder starting directly under your cheekbones, across your hairline and under your jawline.
Apply a hot pink blush to the apple of your cheeks and a little above - and blend in with your fingers
Eyes
With the eyes i used a simple hot pink eyeshadow - Sweeping that all over the lids and then with a dark purple eyeshadow and a buffer brush blend the purple onto the top of the lids and into the crease.
Now apply liquid eyeliner to your lids and extend the line beyond the corners of your eyes for added drama.
Curl your lashes and apply your false lashes and once that's done, apply 2 coats of black mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
Lastly .. very lightly fill in the bottom lashline with a black eyeliner pencil.
Lips
To complete the look apply a hot pink lipstick or anything simular..
Optional
To add an extra 'Barbie' effect i stuck a few pink embellishments onto the outter corners of my eyes. - You can purchase these embellishments cheap on eBay.
So that's my completed Barbie look..
What do you guys think? Do you like this look?

Nailene Nail Studio & Ultra Adhesive Tabs

Happy Sunday everyone!
I hope everyone's having a great weekend so far. Today i wanted to talk to you about the new Nailene Nail Studio & Ultra Adhesive Tabs - First i have to say i am not an expert when it comes to nails and sticking on nails. I used to do it when i was in my teens but haven't done it ever since.
When i was sent some to review from Sparkle-PR i was a little excited to be trying them out again, and straight away opened the packet to do so.
Nailene Nail Studio
For the best dressed nails, each pack contains 24 nails in graduated sizes and a storage tray to keep your nails together. Available in Petite French, Short French, Medium French and Silver Twist Designs.
£4.69
Nailene Ultra Adhesive Tabs
Hot off the shores of US, these clever tabs are selling fast (sales are up over 500%) in the UK, as word has spread amongst savvy beauty junkies; that you can apply them to get delectable nails in a matter of seconds. Designed with a new technology, these acetone free, glue-free, stick-on tabs come with a peel off sheet, making them easy to apply straight to your own nails with minimal fuss or mess.
£2.49

The application:
First let me say that it is useful to have a pair of tweezers in hand for an easier application. Take any existing nail polish off with nail polish remover and your ready to begin.
With your tweezers pick up your first adhesive tab and apply it on your nail like so..
Then pick out a false nail that will fit your finger nail - Because my nails are tiny i had to buff the false nails down to size to fit my finger nails.. if you need to do this, i highly recommend you do this before you start the application.
Run your finger over the adhesive tab a few times to get rid of any bubbles, peel off the sheet and apply your false nail into place.
Repeat this step with all your nails and they should look something like this..
The removal:
To remove the nails, just slide them towards the tips of your fingers, roll off the adhesive and voila!
Overall.. I really like these false nails and the idea of them, they were easy to apply and easy to remove. Although i'm not a big fan of long nails and if i were they would have to be my own nails, i usually like to keep my nails short but if you like having long nails then these will be perfect for you. They are designed to last between 5hours or 5days, they are water-resistant and never dry out making them more confortable to wear! I'm not going to lie, i kept mine on for about an hour not because i didn't like them but because i do housework and these aren't ideal for when you have to do housework. The application was quite straight forward and easy and so was the removal.. although when i did take them off my nails were a little sticky so i had to use nail polish remover to get it off which wasn't really a big deal.
Another thing i really liked about these were the fact that they actually stuck on really well. I tried pulling at my nails a few times to test to see if they would just slip off and they didn't budge one bit.
I would definitely recommend these for those who like having long nails.

You can purchase both the Nailene Nail Studio & Ultra Adhesive Tabs from boots, Superdrugs, Tesco and Asda.
Nailene Nail Studio £4.69
Nailene Ultra Adhesive Tabs £2.49

So what do you girls think? Would you purchase these?
Disclaimer: This product was sent to me for reviewing purposes, i have not been paid to write this post. All opinions are my own and 100% honest, as always..

Kim Kardashian Inspired Make Up Look

For the past few days i been trying out new looks and going through my 78 colour makeup palette from Blush Professional and i really wanted to do another celebrity inspired make up look.
So i looked up a few celebrities online and picked out a few i really really liked.

Today i am showing you my Kim Kardashian Inspired Makeup Look.
(Image taken from Google)
This is the picture i did my inspired look from - I thought it was a great picture to work through my purples in the palette as they have yet to be touched. Although i did try using false lashes in this look it just didn't work out, so i ended up pulling them off.
I can never pull off false lashes.. so i think i'm going to work on that next.
Onto the look.. I don't think this is a look i would wear on a daily basis but i instantly fell in love with the colours of her eyes and her cheeks so i thought i would try and recreate the look.
Here is a picture with the false lashes.
Some pictures without the false lashes..

So what do you guys think?

Passion Savon Soaps

One thing i always get excited about is nice smelling things. Usually when i go out to my local boots or superdrugs to stock up on my showel gels, soaps and bubble bath the most important thing for me.. is to have a nice smelling one.
So i was extremely excited when a company called Passion Savon contacted me asking me if i would like to review their handmade soaps and gave me a selection to choose from.
I picked out 3 soaps to review and actually received 5!!- one of which i forgot to take a photo of but here are the one's they did send me.
Chocolate
I wasn't really sure about this soap when i first opened it.. mainly because i have never washed my hands or body with chocolate before, i usually go for scents like strawberrys or aloe vera ..
Non the less i decided to give it a go.. and suprisingly i actually really liked it. The scent wasn't really strong where i could constantly smell chocolate, it was actually really nice.
After using it a few times to wash my hands with, i noticed you could actually use these soaps as a body scrub .. if you want to exfoliate before fake tanning- i recently i reviewed a fake tan from Laurens Way and before i used it i scrubbed myself with this soap to exfoliate my body ready for the fake tan.. and the tan came out really well afterwards which i was soo pleased about.
Mango & Papaya
This was one of my favourites which i was sent. The scent is absolutely amazing and i could literally smell it all day! If you like the smell of mango's then you will love this soap!
 Bergamot
Aloe Vera & Jojoba
Image taken from the Passion Savon website
Strawberries & Champagne
This one is my favourite out of them all! The smell is absolutely divine - This soap was the first one i opened and used, and it was gone with-in 2days! I literally found any excuse to wash my hands just so i could use this soap - i loved it!

Overall:
Products: i loved all the soaps i was sent, they all had these amazing and different scents about them and they were just a dream to wash your hands and body with.
Textures: Again, they were a dream and it was just nice going from a normal shower gel or soap to a lovely smelling handmade soap. Definitely felt like luxury.
Prices: The prices vary from €5-€7 for 0.1kg - which to me is pretty cheap.
Packaging: All the soaps were nicely wrapped and had stickers on the front with the names - which was perfect for me because i am useless when it comes to scents.
Availability: I believe they ship worldwide - Well they are based in France and they shipped to me in the UK so i'm guessing they are.
Would i recommend?
100% Yes - I'm definitely going to be purchasing more!

My look of the day

Hey everyone!
This is just a quick post of my look of the day - I've been super busy today so haven't got round to posting proper posts.
If you would like to see a tutorial on this look then please let me know :)
I went for a really important meeting today and this is the look i decided to go with. My hair was in a complete state when i woke up so i sprayed abit of my favourite Batiste Dry Shampoo - XXL Volume to lift my hair and give it some extra volume.
With my make up ..I wanted the main focus to be on my eyes so i kept my lips quite simple with just a tinted lipbalm. Also i love my new jumper i am wearing.. Well i say 'new', i actually bought it last year but never got round to wearing it and it got pushed to the back of the cupboard. I am in love with the padded shoulders on this jumper, that have these gorgeous beads and embellishments on them.

So what do you think of this look?

Update: Blog Name Change

Happy Sunday everyone!
I hope everyone's had a lovely weekend soo far.
I just thought i would quickly write a blog post on a few changes i am making to my blog. As you may have noticed my blog name is no longer 'Miss Fashion Beauty' and it is now 'Miss Holly' instead. Not exactly the biggest change in the world, but i like it. I just thought 'Miss Fashion Beauty' was to original and not really 'me'.

I'm still in the process of tweaking a few bits and changing a few things around so you may still see 'Miss Fashion Beauty' around still ..so please bare with me on that. Also if you follow me on twitter or facebook you may have realised my name has changed on them too..:)
At the moment i am really liking the new change.. you may have noticed me going crazy with my blog layout lately.. I kept changing it every other week, but i think for now i am done and sticking to 'Miss-Holly'.
Please let me know what you all think of my new blog name and layout, if you think there is anything i need to change at all?..

Diva - Pro Styling Curling Wand

Sometime last week i showed you how i straightened my hair and spoke of new toys i recently got.. (if you want to see my post on how i straighten my hair then please click 'here')
Anyway today i am going to show you another new toy i recently got, this is called the Diva Pro Styling Curling Wand which makes my hair look like this.. If you would like to see how i created these curls then please read on. :)

 Step 1
Grab a heat protection spray and just spray all over your hair. The heat protection spray i am using is Schwarzkopf & Henkel Got2b Guardian Angel
Then tip your head forwards so you have all your hair on your face and spray the back of your hair.
What i like to do next is massage it all in using my fingers and using a wide tooth comb brush, brush through it all so it's all even and spread out.
 Step 2
You can either section your hair or just curl as it is. I don't really section my hair when curling i find it easier to curl with all my hair down.
Grab a medium sized section of hair and spray a little bit of heat protection, using my wide tooth comb i briefly brush through the hair i'm about to curl.
Grabbing the curling wand and pointing the wand downwards.. i slowly wrap my hair around the wand starting from the top, so the ends of your hair end up and the very tip of the curling wand. Hold for around 7seconds and let go.. Continue this step until you have done the whole of your head.
Step 3
Once your done with curling your hair, Grab a strong hold hair spray and spritz it all over your hair and your done :)

Here are a few after snaps.
Product: Okay first thing i loved about this curling wand was the colour - HOT PINK!! I love anything pink so that wasa huge bonus getting it in hot pink!
Other things i loved.. they were easy to use, easy to turn on and off, they came with a metal stand and heat protection finger gloves. I also loved the fact that once i curled one section i didn't have to go over it again, saving me alot of time. The curls also stayed in all day and night.
Price: You can purchase this curling wand online, the cheapest i could find were £34.99 'here' which to me is pretty cheap for a decent curling wand.
Packaging: The curling wand came in a box and the item was packaged really well with lots of foam so that the product wouldn't get damaged in the post.
Availability: Diva Professional Styling offer worldwide shipping
Would i recommend? 100% Yes!
You can purchase this curling wand online by clicking 'here'.

What do you think? Will you be purchasing?
