Elsie Belle - Primrose Locket

I have to say that i have completely fallen in love with my new locket.
As you may know about 2 weeks back i held a Elsie Belle giveaway for the Busy Bee's bracelet.. and the lovely people over at Elsie Belle's also sent me this gorgeous locket to say thank you.

It was beautifully packaged in a nice small giftbox.

This is what Elsie Belle say about this necklace:
The sweetest little 1950's brass locket embossed with hearts and flowers and topped with a vintage brass mesh bow.

I remember briefly having a locket when i was 11years old. Me and my best friend back then bought each other cheap plasic one's. Does anyone remember getting plastic rings when they were little? Well the locket we bought each other were like that. They broke within a week! We didn't even keep pictures of each other inside them either.. We coloured them in with permanant marker!! -- Yep soo sad.
Anyway.. I have fallen in love with this locket! Even though i won't always wear it as i feel too scared to break it but i deffinatly will keep it close to me.

I know exactly what i will be putting in this locket. On one side i would like a picture of my mum and the other side i would like a picture of my boyfriend. I found it a little hard to choose who to put inside.. if i chose my sister then my brother would probably get jealous, same goes if i picked my brother. So i thought keeping it simple .. i'd pick my boyfriend. I'm also such a mummy's girl and me and my mum are soo close so i have to have her on the other side, without a doubt.

Go check out their website 'here' for 15% off ..remember to use my code: MISSFASHIONBEAUTY

What do you think? ..
Also i would love to know, who would you put inside your locket?

Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser
I have fallen madly in love with this facecream. My skin has been horrible lately. It's super dry and just a pain to work with. So i was overly excited when i receieved the Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser in the post around 2weeks ago.
I straight away, ripped open the package and used it and i haven't stopped since. I love the texture of this facecream and love how it feels once you've applied this on your face. Within a couple of days i noticed a huge change in my skin. It wasn't dry anymore!!!

I love love LOVE this product!

EOS Lipbalm Summerfruits
Haha as always this is on my monthly favourites, i just cannot get enough of it.
-I'm not going to go into detail about the EOS lipbalm as i blab on way too much about it.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - 210 Presto Pink and Glitter Gray Nail Polish
I've painted my nails alot this past month and i have to say that none of my nail polishes compare to this Sally Hansen one. I only had one Sally Hansen nail polish before, but the lovely Danielle over at Sweet as Honey sent me a few more to try out. I love the how easy it is to apply, it has a big flat brush which makes it easier to apply. The Glitter gray nail polish i just did a review on which you can see both of these colours combined. Click 'here' to see my review.
Hard Candy Baked Eyeshadow Duo 057 Peace
I LOVE neutral coloured eyeshadows and i fell in love with this duo eyeshadow straight away. First ..these 2 colors are the colors i wear on a day to day basis so it was handy that it's in a small pot. Danielle also got me this - I swear she knows me soo well!

Sonia Kashuk 73Sheer Orchid
This lipstick is a sheer light pink/coral colour, it's nice and creamy which means i don't need to apply a lipgloss on top for extra shine which for me is an added bonus. It stays on all day and most of the night. I love!

Milani Baked Blush 04Terra Sole
I find it soo hard to find a decent blusher shade. I am soo picky when it comes to blusher, i can't have it too light and i can't have it too dark. Luckily Danielle knew exactly what i wanted. The colour was a perfect match to my skin tone.
This blusher also includes a mini blush brush underneath but i use my Sigma Miss Taylor instead as i find it alot more easier.

What's your favourites this month?

Born Pretty Store - Glitter Gray Color Nail Polish

Hey Everyone!
Again i have another review for you. Born Pretty Store were kind enough to send me another 2 products for review.
The product i am reviewing for you today is
My first thoughts were.. wow it's gorgeous! It has soo many different coloured glitters inside and the bottle itself is tinyyyy!  I really wanted a gorgeous sparkley nail polish, if you saw not long ago on my current wishlist that i wanted Deborah Lippmann's Happy birthday nail polish well.. this is like an exact match apart from the glitters inside are alot smaller.

First.. i painted my nails with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail color in 210 Presto Pink, i applied 2 coats of this, then applied 2 coats of the Glitter Gray Color Nail Polish.. and the pictures above were the results.

Overall:
Product: I love it! It was so easy to apply and it dries with-in around 2minutes which is a bonus for me as i hate having to wait soo long for nail polishes to dry.
Texture: The texture wasn't too bad, it didn't turn out too lumpy bumpy once it was fully dry and the texture itself when applying was perfect.
Price: I havent been able to get into their website currently but i think they are around $3-$4? Which to me is a total bargain!
Packaging: They packaged this product really well for me, which i was pleased about. The bottle packaging is cute and tiny and comes in a 8ml bottle.
Would i recommend? 100% Yes! I deffinatly going to be purchasing more!

You can get this nail polish at BornPrettyStore by clicking 'here
Remember to use my discount code for an extra 10% off your order :)

Lip products i'm loving

The other day i showed you how i store my make up. If you missed that post then you can read all about it and see pictures 'here'.
Anyway i thought today i would show you each product that is inside of my make up case - starting with the lipsticks and balms.
These are mainly my lipsticks for the summer and if you read my last post about how i store my makeup then i explained that alot of the things in the make up case at the moment -was bought from Danielle over at Sweet as Honey - We recently ran a blogswap and she sent me a ton of stuff to try out.

I usually go for colours to fit what i am wearing and also my mood i'm in. Some days i want a bright pink lipstick and some i just want my lipbalm.
I'm not going to describe the lipstick colours as i'm sure you'll be able to see them in the pictures.
I have marked the lipsticks Danielle got me (with a *) as i'll be doing a review on my most favourite products she got me in a seperate post.

Anyway here are my summer lipsticks and balms
[Please excuse my rubbish heart drawings)
Rimmel 164 Tantrum -- *Rimmel 070 Airy Fairy -- ELF Gypsy

BYS Babydoll -- MUA Shade6 -- ELF mineral nicely nude

*Covergirl 230Coral -- *Covergirl 210Thistle -- *EOS Lipbalm Summerfruits

 *Covergirl 395Darling -- *NP Set Havana --

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

I was soo excited around a week ago when the Liz Earle PR team contacted me saying that they were taking their first steps into the colour and had formulated a tinted moisturiser.
I have been a huge fan of Liz Earle products for a long time now! So when they offered me a chance to try and review their NEW sheer skin tint there was noway i would say no.
What Liz Earle say about their new product:
Our new Skin Tint is the natural bridge from skincare through to colour. It's rich and creamy like a foundation, yet lightweight and glides effortlessly onto the skin, blending easily to enhance natural skin tones. Just like our award winning Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Sheer Skin Tint delivers dependable, visible results for all skin types. Designed for use all year round, our unique, high performance formulation leaves skin looking dewy, even and radiant, with the perfect level of coverage for every woman to achieve natural beautiful skin.
With mineral UV protection SPF 15, Sheer Skin Tint is also enriched with our own carefully selected blend of botanicals: natural source vitamin E avocado and borage, to work in harmony with our Liz Earle skincare range.

My Thoughts:
Packaging: As always Liz Earle always has nice packaging. I like the fact that it's a plain tube and not covered in loads of pictures. I'm not a big fan of products with a load of pictures on the front. In my opinion it makes it look tacky and when i am in a drug store looking for make up i tend to look at products with a plain look.
Texture: The texture of this tinted moisturiser is really nice, i thought it blended it really well. It was a tad thick but not too thick and wasn't too runny. It was just the way i like it.
My skin lately has been okay after changing my skincare routine. So it gave me great coverage. The only thing was it made my skin abit greasy, which for me i usually go for a more oily foundation/tinted moisturiser as i usually have quite dry skin but for me this tinted moisturiser was a little too greasy for me.
Shades: You can get this Sheer Skin Tint in:
  • Bare - For fair skin tones
  • Beige - For medium skintones
  • Beach - For darker skintones
I choose the shade beige and it was a perfect match to my skin tone. The only thing i'd say with the shades are they should bring out a few more for people who are inbetween those shades. I have read a few other people's reviews and some have said it's too light or too dark. So maybe just add a few more shades for the inbetween skintones.
Price: The Sheer Skin Tint will be available from September 15th and will cost £21 for a 40ml bottle.. Which in my opinion isn't too bad! If you have tried any of the Liz Earle products before then you will know that you pay for exactly what you get and that's quality.
Overall: I do like this product, but for me my main problem is it leaves my skin greasy. Apart from that it's a nice product i am deffinatly looking forward to the Liz Earle Colour Range which will be launched next year.

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint will be available on the 15th September online and in store and will retail at £21 for 40ml.

What do you tnink?
Will you be purchasing?

How i store my make up & my make up collection(Not all) ..

Happy Friday everyone!
Today i thought i'd show you how i store my make up..
And my make up collection .. well it's not all of it. I have tons!!
These are just make up i am using right now..
I also have a ton of make up i don't use that have been swatched or used once or a few times. Which i'm not sure what to do with it? .. maybe hold a giveaway? .. or do a post about them and if you want it then just comment? I don't know.. let me know what i should do?

Anyway i recently got this make up case to store my make up. Before.. i used to just put my make up in make up bag's and i ended up having about 6 or 7. Which meant i couldn't find anything.
So it's been pretty handy having this make up case around.
I intended on making a video on this but the camera for some reason isn't recording any sound.. Hopefully i'll get that fixed next week but that's why i haven't made any video's lately.
You can purchase this make up case in silver, pink OR black from blush professional for £24.99!!!..
Of course, i choose pink!

    Overall case dimensions (LxWxH): 25cm x 18.5cm x 23cm.

How i store my make up?

In sections:
On the top i have stored my lipsticks (on the left) and eyeshadows(on the right).
These aren't all of them.. I recently had a blog swap with Danielle over at Sweet As Honey and she sent a ton of things for me to review so these are mainly the ones she sent me and a few new one's i just purchased. I'm not sure what the E.L.F tinted moisturizer is doing with the eyeshadows? hmmm..?

Under the lipsticks (on the left) i have my lipglosses. At the moment i am currently obsessing over lip products so i have quite a few new one's there to try :D
On the right under the eyeshadows i have my mascara's and eyeliners.
Then underneath all that i have my foundations, primers, facepowders, blushers, bronzers, concealers and my eyelash curlers! Haha!

The only thing i'm a little bummed about is that i didn't have enough space for my make up brushes so i ended up putting them in this make up case that Danielle also got me :)
Overall i am 9.5/10 happy i got this make up case! I think it's soo great and easy to carry around.. It stores alot of make up, it's easy to clean and i think £24.99 is pretty cheap for a make up case!
What do you think? Will you be purchasing one youself?..

You can grab this case for £24.99 from Blush Professional, they also have a 10% off summer sale going on. Go check it out by clicking here!
P.S: Remember to leave a comment below on what i should do with my spare make up.. which i have a ton of!
Thank you, have a great weekend everyone :) xox

My interview with Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad
Lauren is well known for being a television personality, fashion designer, and an author!  She is the designer of 2 lines LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls and Paper Crown and also has 2 websites thebeautydepartment.com and laurenconrad.com
I'm pretty sure you all know her already. If you don't.. WOW! Where have you been these past years?
Having being a huge L.C fan since she first hit our screens in 2004. I was lucky enough to get an interview with her to find out what products she uses, what her future plans are etc..

Hi Lauren,

Can you tell me, what's your all time favourite make up brand and why?
I use a variety of different brands NARS, Dior, Maybelline, L’Oreal and even Victoria Secret beauty. I think the most important thing is to find products that work and not be married to one brand

You have amazing skin all the time, Can you describe your skincare regime?
I always wash my makeup off. I like cetaphil cleanser. I also make sure to drink lots of water and get sleep.

How does your skin cope with such a busy lifestyle? Do you break out alot and how do you deal with break outs?
Yes breakouts happen. I try to keep my skin clean and when I travel not to wear makeup on the plane. I use products by Kate Summerville and get facials when I have the time

When do you feel at your best and most beautiful?
When I am rested and relaxed

Have you ever had a make up/ beauty disaster? If so.. What happened?
When I was shooting at the beach I remember I forgot to use waterproof mascara and I literally had black lines all down my face.

What was the best piece of beauty advice you have ever been given?
Keep it simple
How would you describe your style?
California casual. Chic and playful yet romantic

Who would you say is your idol?
I don’t have one person. I like to idolize strong women in general

What is your favourite item you have bought so far?
My vintage Chanel purse. It was a splurge but I always carry it

A fashion rule you never break?
Only wear clothes that fit. No matter how fashionable something is if it is too small it will never look good

When your not working.. what do you like to wear?
Jeans and a baggy comfy t shirt or sweater

Your a television personality, fashion designer, & an author!.. Is there any thing else you would like to do in your career?
I am really happy with what I have achieved. My goal was to design. It is a love and I am just fortunate to get to pursue what I love every day

Where would you like to see yourself in 10years time?
I hope following the same path I am on

Last question.. What do you think of my blog? .. Anything you would personally change or any suggestions?
You do a great job on your blog, keep up the good work

Thank you to the beautiful Lauren for taking part in my interview.
